Abstract

A cable clamp comprises a body (10) made from an elastic plastic material and having a back portion (12) and two arms (13, 14) which project in a forward direction from said back portion and which, at their free ends, define a gap (15) therebetween which terminates into a passage (16), located behind said gap and extending through said body in a direction transverse to the back portion (12) and said arms (13, 14). The plastic body (10) is provided with members (17), formed integrally therewith and serving as clamping means for releasably holding an electric cable, inserted in said passage, within the latter. The cable clamp also comprises a fastening (11) for the plastic body (10), made from metal and adapted to be fitted to the plastic body (10) in a position in which it projects from said body in the longitudinal direction of the back portion (12) with a portion thereof, formed as a stiff elongate fastening tongue (20), which has its rear side located at least approximately flush with the rear side of the back portion (12) of the plastic body (10).
