Abstract

Along the longitudinal edge of the support sheet is adhered a group smooth strips rectangular in cross-section and sharp-edged. These strips are spaced part by a distance of less than approximately 3mm. A corresponding band-form protective sheet is adhered to the sides of the strips opposite to the support sheet. On these sides an adhesive is provided for fixture to the windscreens. After the protective sheet is removed, the support sheet with the strips facing the windscreen is applied at an angle differing from 0 degrees in relation to the drying blade longitudinal direction with the passage of the strips. The strips are pressed via the outside of the support sheet to fasten them to the windscreen, and then the support sheet is removed.
