Abstract

The invention relates to an apparatus and a method for pulsed heat stimulation of an arbitrary part (9) of the body, whereby the heat stimulation being applied to said body part (9) at an arbitrary heat stimulation temperature has a frequency varying between 0.1 Hz and 20 Hz. Due to this heat stimulation frequency, a very efficient pulsed heat stimulation is accomplished in order to achieve as high a signal generation in the nervous system as possible.
