Abstract

A sealing ring for the gap between the cylinder and piston is formed by an O-ring inside a piston groove, surrounded by a relatively rigid elastic band, which is kept in position by stoppers. The seals for the ring gaps between the cylinders and coaxial pistons (1-4) comprise at least one soft elastic O-ring housed in a peripheral groove in the piston that extends at right angles to the piston length direction, and a relatively rigid elastic band surrounding the O-ring. Stoppers (22,31) on either side of the band prevent the band from moving along the piston in its length direction.
