Abstract

The device comprises a pressure meter activated by water pressure fed through a tube (3). The tube extending from an inlet (2) on the outside of the hull of the vessel (1) under the water line is provided with an extension (5) in an upward direction for formation of an air pocket, which in its entirety is located at a level above the pressure meter (8).
