Abstract

The invention relates to a heating system. This comprises a heating boiler (1) with a circulating heating medium; a first heat exchanger (2) for the recovery of additional heat; a first heat pump (4), which is connected to the heat exchanger and to a return pipe (2b) for the heating medium in such a way that the latter can be heated by means of the heat pump (4); a second heat exchanger (10) for the recovery of flue gas heat from the heating boiler (1) and a second heat pump (11), which is connected to the second heat exchanger and to the return pipe (1b). Two-way valves (3a, 12a) are installed in pipes (3, 12, 14, 15, 16) between the output sides of the aforementioned heat exchangers (2, 6) and the input sides (4a, 11a) of the aforementioned heat pumps (4, 11) and are so arranged, for the purpose of optimizing the utilization of the additional heat and of the flue gas heat from the heating boiler (1), as to provide a pipe connection between the first heat exchanger (2) and the first heat pump (4) and between the second heat exchanger (6) and the second heat pump (11), or alternatively from the first or the second heat exchanger (2 and 6) to both the first and the second heat pump (4, 11), but not between both heat exchangers (2, 6) and one of the heat pumps (4, 11).
