Abstract

The frame fitting (11) has an engagement part which is couplable to the sliding fitting (10) so that it is slidable relatively to the frame fitting, permitting the door only to be opened partly. In the area of the door panel (1) lock side a protective component (4) such as a plate netting or grid is pivotably fixed and can swing out from the door panel which, with the door partly opened, covers such a large part of the space to the adjacent door frame that unauthorised entry is prevented. - The protective component (4) and the door panel (1) have coupling components (9) which work in conjunction with one another, and by means of which the protective component is fixable in an inactive position along the door panel. The frame fitting (11) engagement part has a widened section (12), which is supported by a narrower throat part. The sliding fitting (10) has a longitudinal slot in which the throat part is accommodated in a relative slide movement. The slot-shaped opening has a smaller cross measurement than the widened part.
