Abstract
A device for laying out points on, for example, a building site comprises at least two laser projectors P1, P2 which are each arranged so as to emit laser light in a vertical plane and each have an actuating motor V1, V2 for setting a desired projection direction. Each projector has a known reference direction R1, R2 and a known position. The coordinates of the laying-out points are converted to directions from the reference direction to the laying-out point for the respective projector so that laser intersection point marks the laying-out point. Each projector has a memory M1, M2 for these angle values. A receiver C1, C2 can be activated in order to select desired angles corresponding to desired laying-out points. A transmitter S carried by the operator can be used in order simultaneously to activate the receivers of all the projectors and make the projectors mark the desired laying-out point. The operator can carry a marking stick M with a detector arrangement D which allows the marking stick to be positioned at the intersection point between the laser planes of the projectors. <IMAGE>
