Abstract

The invention relates to an evacuating and sealing device for gas-tight bags, comprising an evacuating pump having an evacuating nozzle designed to be enclosed in sealing manner by an opening section of a bag. According to the invention there is proposed, inter alia, a sealing arrangement interacting with the evacuating nozzle and comprising a cap part 70 arranged to be detachably received in the evacuating nozzle 60 and a ring part 80 arranged to be threaded onto the opening section of the bag 100 and, following evacuation of the bag by means of the evacuating pump, to be brought into engagement with the cap part 70 so as to secure in sealing manner therebetween the opening section of the bag 100. <IMAGE>
