Abstract

Method and arrangement for drying a dispersion of a material in a liquid, preferably a paint material (paint) which is dispersed in water and which is applied to an object in a layer. Heat is supplied in order to obtain evaporation of the liquid in the dispersion and diffusion in a direction away from the surface of the object and out towards the free surface of the layer of paint. Heat is supplied to the paint material before the latter is applied to the object. Heat can also be supplied to the object, or to propellant gas when spraying the paint material, before this is applied to the object. <IMAGE>
