Abstract

At its ends, the railway truck has load-receiving parts (18) located at a first level, and between them is a load-receiving central part located at a lower level. This latter part has first and second grip components (9, 10), of which the first (9) is at a lower level than the second, enabling the central part to accommodate a unit load with a length which is less than that of the central part. - The second grip component (10) can be brought to a position in which, being at a higher level than the first, it can work in conjunction with grip components (8) to receive a unit load (11c, 11d) on at least one of the truck end parts (18).
