Abstract
The scalpel has a hollow housing (1) with an attached surgical knife (2) incorporating a heat exchanger (3) with 2 coaxial lines (4,5), which is coupled to a cold source (7). The hollow housing (1) acting as the handle has an electromechanical vibration source (14), the vibrations coupled to the blade (2). The vibration source (14) uses an electromechanical vibrator associated with the line (17) between the heat exchanger (3) and the cold source (7), for reciprocation of the knife.
