Abstract
The invention relates to a structure absorbing electromagnetic waves, comprising at least one element (1) formed by an alveolar spacer sandwiched between two films (2, 3) having an electrical conductivity gradient in their thickness. Application to shielding in the field of centri-metric waves. The spacer may be of honeycomb form and may be formed from an aramide resin impregnated with epoxy resin. The films may be of styrene/butylacrylate latex with polypyrrole made conducting by doping. <IMAGE>
