Abstract

The invention is used in the clothing manufacturing industry, the different sewing assemblies being coupled to one another via an overhead transporting system. The object of the invention is to transfer a blank part in an article carrier automatically without using additional technical means for opening the clamping element of the article carrier. The article carrier is transported in the region of a stacking device preferably via a chain. The transfer to the article carrier takes place via a blade, the blank part being picked up by the blade and pushed with the latter into the article carrier. On completion of the transfer, the blade is pulled out of the article carrier, and the clamping element of the article carrier retains the blank part. The blank parts are fed into the transfer region by means of transporting belts which are preferably separate from one another, such that the blade is arranged between them for transfer. <IMAGE>
