Abstract

This invention relates to a device for a dish-washer comprising a tub (10) with a bottom plate (11) and a collecting container for the dish-water the container being placed below the bottom plate (11), a circulation pump an a drain pump the inlets of which communicate with said container the circulation pump distributing the dish-water to nozzles in the tub through which the dish-water is sprayed on the dish. The bottom plate (11) is provided with ribs (39, 40, 41) or the like by means of which the water flowing down from the walls of the tub and from the dish is directed to certain areas (43, 47, 49) of the bottom plate. The container is completely or partly covered by a fine sieve (31) sloping towards a coarse sieve (36). At least one of said areas (43, 47) is situated at the upper part of the fine sieve (31) so that a major part of the water is directed towards the fine sieve (31).
