Abstract
A manual shift transmission (1) comprises a main transmission unit (5) with a plurality of forwards transmission ratios and a reduction unit (2) with at least one forwards transmission ratio and a reverse transmission ratio. The reduction unit (2) is arranged on the input side of the main transmission unit (5) and is actuated by electro-pneumatic devices, which are controlled by two selector switches (65, 66) arranged on a gearshift lever (64) for the mechanical actuation of the main transmission unit (5). <IMAGE>
