Abstract

The rotary bit for deep holes, which is designed in particular as a core bit, comprises a basic body (2), which has a central flushing-medium passage (3) as well as connecting means (4) for connecting to a drill-pipe string or a drive shaft of a deep-hole motor, and shaped cutting bodies (7-12) which are arranged on the basic body (2) and are made of a material bond and the cutting particles of which together define a cutting face (20) working off material in a progressive manner. Sectional passages (21) branching off from the central flushing-medium passage (3) are provided for the admission of flushing medium to the cutting bodies (7-12).
