Abstract

A vehicle-mounted scraper implement for snow clearing, grading or the like, comprising a blade (1) which is mounted on a frame and which, at an upper portion, is hingdedly connected to a holder (3) at a point, or about a pivot shaft (13), situated in front of a lower cutting edge (2) of the blade. One or more flexible means (15), such as wires, extend from a setting mechanism (18) connected to the holder (3) and are connected to the lower portion of the blade (1) and adapted to define a front end or working position towards which a spring means (14) constantly strives to bring the blade, and from which the blade, if it should strike an obstacle, is freely movable backwards and upwards owing to a slackening of said flexible means, the front end position of the blade being adjustable by means of said setting mechanism and said flexible means so as to vary the inclination of the blade in relation to the horizontal plane.
