Abstract

The balcony has a base formed by a profiled plate (4). A wooden duck-board (5) structure forms the upper surface, resting on iron T-supports (8) connected to the frame. The balcony is fitted to the body of a house (2) by rear fasteners (6) and draw bars (7) of adjustable length attached to the metal frame. After the balcony is installed, the draw bars are finely adjusted so that the balcony inclines slightly outwards so that rain water draining through the duck-boarding is collected by the profiled plate to drain away via the front drainage channel (3d). The metal frame also supports railing columns (10) and a front plate (11).
