Abstract

The pliable sheet (6) is attached to the box side opposite to the feed-out aperture (3) at a reasonable height above the base (9). When the box is filled, the weight of the potatoes causes the sheet to drop downwards. This allows the complete volume of the box to be filled with the vegetables. - When the box is nearly emptied, the reduced weight of potatoes allows the sheet, by virtue of its tension, to adopt a plane sloping towards the feed-out aperture (3), along which the last potatoes in the box may roll outwards.
