Abstract

Method for incinerating combustible material recovered from waste water in an incineration arrangement, such as in a furnace 1 for solid fuel. Previously, the mechanically dried fibrous material was transferred, in the case of a furnace for solid fuel, for example, to a stockpile of bark used as fuel, or directly by conveyor belt to the furnace, and the problem was the dust formed by the fibrous material. With a method according to this invention, this problem has been solved in such a manner that the mechanically dried fuel is conducted to the combustion chamber of the furnace above the grating 8 by flue gas produced in the furnace or a mixture of flue gas and air being used as a carrier gas for transport.
