Abstract
The flow regulator includes as a tapping from the main pipe, an assembly of calibrated discharge conduits (4) connected in parallel. Each calibrated conduit is fitted with a solenoid valve which is either fully open or fully closed, and a means of controlling the operation of the valves. The outflow of the valves is regrouped in a return collector which recycles the liquid into the main pipe. The valves are controlled by a microprocessor which can also control a main valve. The microprocessor program provides controlled diversion of the flow in the main pipe in order to obtain fine control of any alteration in the required delivery of liquid from the main pipe.
