Abstract

A steering device for a projectile involves a number of axially directed firing chambers (6, 7), and in connection with these around the periphery of the projectile, a distribution of gas emission nozzles (10, 11), with the aim of emitting gas impulses which alter the projectiles direction of travel. The firing chambers (6, 7) are designed in several parallel groups around, at least, every second firing chamber, where within each group the firing chambers are oriented axially in a following sequence to each other. The firing chambers in each group are activated in a predetermined order, whereby a first activated firing chamber (7) has the capacity to release gas from a subsequently activated firing chamber in the same group.<IMAGE>
