Abstract

The invention relates to a hinge comprising two parts 2, 3 which can be rotated about a common spindle 1 and one part 2 of which is fastened to a frame and the other part 3 of which is fastened to a door 4. At least one of the rotatable parts 2, 3 is designed to be inserted in a locking manner into a pocket which is formed by means of a groove made in the door 4 or the frame, and a separate connecting member which is provided with a sprung locking part 8. In order to produce a hinge which is suitable both for a door which is rabbeted on and for a door 4 which is not rabbeted on, the connecting member 5, which can be inserted into the door, is made as a part which, from the edge of the door 4 parallel to the plane of the door plate, is inserted into a groove which is milled in the door and which defines a pocket which is essentially at right angles in relation to the edge surface of the door. Only one surface of the surfaces of the connecting member 5 remains visible essentially on a level with the edge of the door 4. <IMAGE>
