Abstract

The framework for a panel has a number of L-shaped sections with angled cut-outs portions which mate with the ribs of a box-section. The box-section has in addition a number of longitudinal ribs. - To support the panel, the framework has also a number of L-shaped leaf springs, the length of one side of the L being greater than the height of the box section. The design is esp. suitable for the glass plates used in printing or reproduction machines. The sides of the frame have surface wires laid along the bisectors of the angled cut-out portions.
