Abstract

The invention solves the problem of reducing the mass and the manufacturing price of this material whilst maintaining all other properties. The essence of the invention consists in the material comprising at least one layer of a heat-resistant fabric provided at least on one side with a protective layer of 1.0 to 5.0 % by weight of sodium fluorosilicate, 30 to 60 % by weight of water glass and, substantially, expanded fly ash and/or glass-making sand as a remainder. Furthermore, the composition of the protective layer and the addition of the further components for various applications are given.
