Abstract

A fixing bracket for installation ducts comprises two parts of which one 12 has a U-shape and is designed to be attached to a wall and the other 14 has a Z-shape and is designed for fixing of the installation duct. These two parts can be moved in relation to each other, as the first part 12 is designed with slots 22, 24 at the screw connections 18, 20 which hold the parts together. The Z-shaped part 14 has two holding lugs 28, 30 which are in the form of two projections facing away from each other. These are forced apart by tightening the screw connections 18, 20 whereby a secure fixing is achieved for the installation duct. Unlike known techniques the bracket makes possible easy mounting of straight installation ducts on uneven and curved walls. <IMAGE>
