Abstract

Tube clamp in particular for infusion and transfusion units. The tube clamp comprises a clamp housing (11) with an axially protruding clamp device e.g. a cylinder (12). Under the clamping device a cushion (15) of an elastic material is arranged which presents an axial track (16) or hole (18) designed to take up the tube (17). With compression of the tube by means of the clamp device (12) the cushion is also subjected to compression, when the pressure from the clamp device ceases it recovers its original shape thereby exerting side pressure against the tube and also forces this to recover its original shape.<IMAGE>
