Abstract

A binding arrangement for cross-country skis or the like is shown, in which a front binding device allows the heel of the boot to be raised from the surface of the ski. The boot sole has a hollow longitudinal profile which interacts for lateral guiding with a complementary longitudinal profile which is prestressed upwards into the engagement position by an elastic member or another elastic prestressing device and is attached to the upper side of the ski. During the raising of the heel and the rolling of the foot, the two profiles remain in constant engagement and thus provide very good lateral guiding of the boot in relation to the ski.
