Abstract
A stepping switch having a plurality of stationary contacts (K1, K2, K3) which are electrically insulated from one another and are intended for connection to the taps of a control transformer, having a moving contact system (M1, H, M2) which interacts with the stationary contacts, and having at least two valve arrangements (T1, T2), which are controllable in both directions and have associated control elements (3). According to the invention, an arrangement for supplying voltage to the control elements of the valve arrangements (T1, T2) is connected to the moving contact system (M1, H, M2), which arrangement utilises the tap voltage of the transformer as the supply voltage. This supply voltage arrangement contains elements (6, 7, 8, 9) for converting the multi-phase voltage into a DC voltage. <IMAGE>
