Abstract

Method and a device for attaching a panel (10) to a reception device (20). In accordance with the invention the reception device is provided along a vertical surface with grooves (21) set an oblique angle to the vertical surface, while there are disposed on the panel laminar devices (30) with which the panel is affixed in the grooves of the reception device. The laminar devices are preferably somewhat thinner than the width of the grooves, in addition to which the minimum angle ( alpha ) between the laminar devices and the vertical surface is less than the corresponding angle ( beta ) between the direction of the grooves and the vertical surface. This ensures that the abutment forces from the laminar devices are applied to the material of the reception device in the vicinity of the bottom of the groove, by which means the risk of splitting the material of the reception device is minimised.
