Abstract

Fixing element for hanging attachments, the fixing of labels or the like, comprises a sleeve into which a plug can be inserted and a filament connecting plug and sleeve. All these components are made integrally of thermoplastics. In its initial form, before use, the filament is folded at the centre and the end of the plug is attached to the side or external portion of the sleeve by an easily broken junction, or alternatively a similar junction is made between part of the wire and either the sleeve or the plug. Typical thermoplastics are nylon, polypropylene, polyethylene and polyester.
