Abstract
The invention relates to a mounting comprising a sliding-contact or rolling-contact bearing bush which is pressed into a through-opening in a holding part and is secured by a press fit. In known mountings, the through-opening is finely machined during or after the production of the holding part to achieve the required fit for the press fitting of the bush. This is avoided according to the invention by the fact that the pressing surface between the bush and the through-opening opening is formed by the crests of a plurality of approximately axial ribs distributed circumferentially over the through-opening, which ribs are integrally formed on the inner wall of the through- opening and/or on the outer circumference of the bush. Due to the fact that the bush is not in full-surface contact when pressed in, deformation of the ribs occurs, compensating production inaccuracies in such a way that a firm and exact fit of the bush is obtained. By virtue of this compensating effect, finish-machining of the pressing surface between the bush and the location opening is unnecessary.
