Abstract

In a dish-washing machine (10) having a plinth recess (13) adjoining below the bottom (21) of the washing container (22), a door (11) is mounted in the region of its bottom section (12) on the machine body (15) so as to be pivotable about a horizontally extending axis (14) above the plinth recess. The door is substantially covered by a front panel (18) which protrudes into the region of the plinth recess. In order to provide an arrangement of the front panel on the dish-washing machine of a particularly simple design, a solution is proposed with the following features: a) the bearing axis of the door lies at the height of the bottom of the washing container, b) the plinth recess extends up to directly below the bottom of the washing container, c) the front panel is attached at least indirectly resting against the door. <IMAGE>
