Abstract

A tape fastening system for a disposable diaper comprises a fastening tape (10) and a reinforcing tape (11), wherein a non-adhesive surface of said reinforcing tape (11) is adhered to an adhesive surface of a free end of said fastening tape (10) so that said free end of the fastening tape may be secured, with interposition of said reinforcing tape, to a desired position on the diaper to tighten the diaper along the waistline when said diaper is fitted to the wearer's body, and said free end of the fastening tape does not extend as far as the free end of the reinforcing tape and may be peeled off from said position without peeling off said reinforcing tape from said position to be subsequently reattached if required. <IMAGE>
