Abstract

The cover (1) is used for electrical installation equipment, and can be used as template for satisfactory marking of fixture hole (4,5) points for fitment of an insert or base on a wall. The insert or base is first fitted into position, and the cover is then brought over it. The cover is rectangular or quadratic in shape, and incorporates marks or indications so positioned relatively to its corners that they can be used for marking fixture hole points for the insert or base adjacent to an edge formed by a fillet or similar. The marks take the form of a line or narrow fillet on the covers outer top surface.
