Abstract

The coupling pin is pref. for use as a locking pin for a trailer hitch or swing arm. The pin comprises a split body (1) with a hinging eccentric component (4) at the top, actuated from outside, and an expanding component (12) at the bottom, spring-loaded inwards or outwards. The expanding component works with the eccentric component via transmission members (17) inside the split body, these members being spring-loaded in one direction or the other.
