Abstract

Multilayered laminate (composite) material, in particular for protective clothing, comprising an outer, non-flammable textile fabric and an air-permeable, thermally insulating inner layer optionally covered on the free surface by a textile cover layer. Between the textile outer layer and the air-permeable, thermally insulating inner layer there is disposed a likewise air-permeable, flexible, textile-like and bleached or "dazzling white" reflection layer. The side of the reflection layer which faces the outer layer is preferably additionally coated with a layer of, for example spherical, glass beads or the like which each have a diameter of preferably at least 1 micron and preferably not more than 6 microns.
