Abstract

A probe for monitoring liquids comprises a casing (1) having a seating bore (2) and an electrode (4) enveloped by a resilient insulating hose (6). The electrode (4) and the seating bore (2) have, in each case, two portions with different diameters, a respective conical sealing shoulder (5, 3) bridging the diameter difference, and the electrode (4) and insulating hose (6) pass along the seating bore (2). The insulating hose (6) is sealingly fastened between the two sealing shoulders (3 and 5) by resilient bedding rings (10 and 11) between the sealing shoulders and the insulating hose (6). The bedding rings are of the same material as the insulating hose (6). <IMAGE>
