Abstract

Shelf brackets 5 are pivotally secured to a frame 1 for rotation between an "in use" (horizontal) position and a "stowed" (vertical) position, the rotation being effected by downward movement of a bar 9, whereby abutments on the bar successively engage the rear ends of the brackets. According to the invention, the sliding bar 9 has two rows of dogs 10 and 11 and the shelf supports are provided on their shorter arms 6, with a notch 13 in the area of the front dogs 10, and the back part of the shorter arms 6 are formed with inclined bearing surfaces 15. <IMAGE>
