Abstract

The present invention relates to the construction of a textile barrier filter for cleaning dust-polluted gases by filtration on filter cartridges 2, and by cleaning these latter at intervals with cleaning air, comprising a crude gas chamber 1 to which dust-polluted gas is conveyed and which is separated off from a cleaned gas chamber 3 which, for delivering cleaning air and cleaned air, is designed with a number of drums 10 which are provided with an opening 11 for cleaning air and an opening 12 for cleaned gas, which openings 11 and 12 are located at one end of the drum 10, in addition to which the other end of the drum 10 is connected directly to the filter cartridge. The barrier filter is characterised in that the filter cartridge 2 is arranged with a triangular cartridge drum 6 which is partly adapted to conduct cleaning air on cleaning and whose opening is arranged to connect directly to the drum 10 without any change in the flow- through area and whose cleaning and shutting off of cleaned gas is adapted to be carried out simultaneously by means of a common valve blade 13 which is arranged to switch from opening 11 to opening 12, with the filtering being carried out such that the valve blade 13 is adapted to return slowly from opening 12 to opening 11. The filter cartridge 2 is made of a number of hoses 4 which are attached to each other along one side and which are stretched out by a four-wired basket 5, in addition to which the end of the cartridge drum 6 is arranged to connect at the drum 10 and seal against a chamber wall 21 by means of a gasket 9 due to the sealing forces which arise when the cartridge 2 is arranged to be suspended by means of hooks 7 and 8. <IMAGE>
