Abstract

A cistern arrangement for heating tap water by means of a heat pump via a heat carrier liquid contains a vessel (1) with heat exchanger means (5, 6, 8, 9) for transferring heat from the heat pump to the water via liquid, and is distinguished in that the vessel (1) is adapted for containing said liquid, that flow-limiting means are arranged in the vessel (1) for dividing the vessel into two communicating, vertically separated chambers (3, 4), and that the lower chamber (4) is provided with a first heat exchanger (9) constituting a condenser in the heat pump and a second heat exchanger (8) constituting a preheater for the tap water and that the upper chamber (3) is provided with a third heat exchanger (5) constituting a hot gas cooler in the heat pump, and a fourth heat exchanger (6) constituting a final heater for the tap water.
