Abstract

A boiler 1 for domestic heating systems comprises, above a furnace, a substantially vertical axis vessel 2 for a thermal exchange fluid, which vessel is partially surrounded by a plurality of tubes 12 extending substantially parallel to the axis thereof and connected in parallel thereto. The tubes 12 are arranged in a hollow space 7 defined in cooperation with an insulating outer shroud 5. Concentric interconnected vessels may be used to form an annular flue in which the tubes are disposed. The tubes may be extended under the vessel to form a combustion space. <IMAGE>
