Abstract

Microcapsules of trifluro-2, 6- dinitro-N, N-dialkyl-p-toluidine dissolved in an aromatic solvent provide an improved herbicidal composition for large scale application to crop producing areas. The capsules are of a polyurea or amide-urea copolymer produced by the reaction of intermediates, at least one of which contains a polyfunctional reactant having amine, isocyanate, -COCL or SO2CL groups, to provide cross-linking. The capsules may be applied as an aqueous slurry.
