1531198 Mounting disc brake pads SOC ANON DBA 4 May 1977 [19 May 1976] 18706/77 Heading F2E An anti-rattle spring acting between the pads and the pad-mounting pin(s) 20 is locked axially relative to the caliper housing and is locked relative to the pin(s) by a spring portion 40 at an end of the pin. The spring is axially locked relative to the housing by flanges 36 engaging opposite sides of a radial housing aperture, and has a shoulder 42 at its opposite end for abutting the housing; alternatively the spring has a further flange engaging the other end of the pin.
