Abstract

1525795 Oxide-coated glass SAINT-GOBAIN INDUSTRIES 14 June 1976 [17 June 1975] 24539/76 Heading C1M A metal oxide layer is formed on a heated glass surface by spraying onto the surface a powder comprising a coprecipitate of chromium acetyl acetonate and at least one other metal acetyl acetonate. The other metal may be Co, Fe, Zn, Mn, In or Al. The coprecipitate preferably contains at least 50% by weight of chromium acetyl acetonate, and is preferably of particle size less than 300 Á. The powder may be sprayed for 3-5 seconds onto glass at 670‹ C.
