1494205 A herbicidal composition DOW CHEMICAL CO Ltd 4 June 1975 [5 June 1974] 25018/74 Heading ASE A herbicidal composition comprises a synergistic mixture of 3. 6 dichloropicolinic acid or a derivative thereof, e.g. ester or salt, and 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxy acetic acid (MCPA) or a derivative thereof, e.g. ester or salt. Compositions may be prepared in solid or liquid form with the usual carriers, diluents and surface active agents. The compositions may also contain other additives e.g. fertilisers, phytotoxicants, plant growth regulants or pesticides. The compositions are particularly suitable for the control of weeds in cereal crops.
