1470835 Plastics-surfaced laminated display sheet WERNER ACHILLES GLANZFOLIEN KASCHIERANSTALT 23 May 1974 [2 June 1973] 23196/74 Heading B5N A laminate from which folders, loose-leaf binders, showcards and display materials are made comprises a stiffening layer, e.g. cardboard, on which is mounted a decorative sheet material coated or laminated with an embossed polypropylene film which permits the decorative sheet to be viewed therethrough. The film may be embossed conjointly with the sheet, which may then also retain an embossed pattern, or the film may be embossed before lamination to the sheet. The embossing pattern may have a linen-like structure. The sheet may be printed matter (including newsprint), a bottle lable, a photograph or a coloured sheet. The coated or laminated sheet may be adhesively mounted on one or both faces of the stiffening layer and may be drawn around its edges.
