512 007 microbubblor stör avläsningen. Ändamålet med föreliggande uppfinning är att söka eliminera i det föregående nämnda nackdelar och få fram en sammanfogningsmetod som ger jämn limfilm och en limfilm som sträcker sig ända intill substratens centrumhål, och som är helt i avsaknad av luft- bubblor.
REDoGöRELsE Fön UPPF|NN|NGEN Vid det i det föregående beskrivna förfaringssättet vidtages enligt uppfinningen de mo- difikationerna: att en flexibel centrumtapp placeras i det undre substratets oentrumhål med tätning mot centrumhålet; och att tillförseln av den förutbestämda limmängden sker via kolvpumpen, som utmynnar mot den flexibla centrumtappen, samtidigt som paletten med det undre substratet roteras med en hastighet som är synkroniserad med kolvpumpens flöde.
FIGURBESKRIVNING Uppfinningen skall närmare beskrivas i anslutning till bifogade ritning, där schematiskt: Fig 1 visar ett undre substrat och anordningar för tillförsel av lim; Fig 2 visar det undre substratet med tillfört lim och ett övre substrat just vid sammanfog- ningsprocessens början; och Fig 3 visar situationen vid processens slut.
DETA LJBESKRIVNING Det nya förfaringssättet skall beskrivas i samband med sammanfogning och härdning av två st. 0,6 mm DVD-substrat.
Enligt Fig 1 är en ca 15 mm hög flexibel centrumtapp 14 placerad i oentrumhàlet på en roterbar palett 11. Det undre substratet 1 trycks ned på centrumtappen till anliggning mot paletten 11; därvid tätar tappen 14 mot substratets centrumhål. Tillförseln av en förut- bestämd limmängd sker via en till en kolvpump 12 ansluten kanyl 13, som utmynnar mot den flexibla centrumtappen 14; samtidigt roteras paletten11 med det undre substratet 1 med en hastighet som är ca 100 varv per minut och är synkroniserad med kolvpumpens 12 flöde. Kolvpumpen är lämpligen av typ med linjärt flöde, vilket innebär att lim strömmar genom limkanylen med samma flödeshastighet frrån start till stopp, d.v.s. fram till dess att den förutbestämda limmängden dispenserats på substratet. Lämpligen är pumpmotorns varvtal justerbar vid dispenseringen av limmet och hålls sedan konstant.
Palettens rotationshastighet trimmas in så att limflödet startar och stoppar på hela varv.
Limmet kan appliceras medan paletten roterar ett helt varv eller två hela varv o.s.v.Häri- 512 007 a genom fås en iämn limfördelning runt varvet. Limmet bildar då en iämn ring som omsluter centrumtappen i substratets centrum och har en ytterdiameter av t. ex. ca 25 mm. lnnan tillförseln av lim sker kan en stålring tillfälligt placeras på det undre substratett koaxiellt med den flexibla centrumtappen 14, vilken ring roterar med paletten och det stratet. - På grund av limmets ytspänning drages limmet delvis upp Då tappen 14 likt en kil.
Vid sammanfogningen av substraten trycks alltså det övre substratet 2 sakta ned över den flexibla centrumtappen 14 med hjälp av pressarfoten 21, varvid substratet först träf- När det övre substratet kommit i kontakt med lim och det undre substratet formar sig limmet som en växande ring mellan substraten. Detta innebär att limfördelningen mellan substraten blir jämn när dessa pressas samman.
Om den sammansatta skivan skulle vara statiskt uppladdad neutraliseras dess laddningstillstånd genom att limmet fungerar som ledare. l Fig 3 visas situationen vid pressningens slut, då pressarfoten 21 skall förflyttas rakt upp och från den sammansatta skivan.
Efter sammanpressningen härdas limmet runt omkring centrumtappen 14 med hjälp av UV-ljus från en central UV-lampa genom ett antal Ijusledare monterade i en ringformig hållare runt tappen 14. Denna centrumhârdning möjliggör att limmet kan appliceras så 512 007 4 att det täcker hela ytan mellan substraten ända intill centrumhålet utan att limmet läcker ut i oentrum.Vidare kan den sammansatta skivan hanteras utan att substrten glider i för- hållnde till varandra under transporten till sluthärdning. Centrumhålets ytfinish förbättras genom att centrumtappen fungerar som en gjutform för bondningsmaterialet, som då fyl- ler ut de ojämnheter som uppkommit vid stansningen av substratens oentrumhål. Skivan blir även starkare runt centrumhålet.
Efter centrumhärdningen och centrifugeringen drages den flexibla centrumtappen ur ski- van, varefter skivan sluthärdas under rotation i en UV-tork.
Claims (4)
1. Förfaringsssätt för sammanfogning av skivelement till DVD-skivor genom att sam- manfoga ett undre substrat (1) med ett övre substrat (2) medelst lim (10), omfattnde stegen: a. det undre substratet (1) placeras på en roterbar palett (11); b. medelst en kolvpump (12) med linjärt flöde tillföres en förutbestämd mängd lim (10) på det undre substratet samtidigt som paletten med det undre subtratet roterar, varigenom bildas en limring på det undre subtratet (1); c. därefter pressas det övre subtratet (2) sakta ned mot limringen (10), varvid limmet sprids mellan substraten dels genom pressverkan och dels genom kapillârverkan; känneteckn t därav, att en flexibel centrumtapp (14) placeras i det undre substratets (1) centrumhål (15) med tätning mot centrumhálet (15); och att tillförseln av den förutbestämda limmängden (10) sker via kolvpumpen, som utmyn- nar mot den flexibla centrumtappen (14), samtidigt som paletten (11) med det undre substratet (1) roteras med en hastighet som är synkroniserad med kolvpumpens flöde.
2. Fórfaringssätt enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att, innan tillförseln av lim (10) sker, placeras en stålring på det undre substratet (1) koaxiellt med den flexibla centrumtappen (14), vilken ring roterar med paletten och det undre substratet när den förutbestämda limmängden tillföres mot den flexibla cen- trumtappen (14). '
3. Förfaringssätt enligt något av patentkraven 1 - 2, kännetecknatdärav, _ att, efter det att en limring (10) bildats på det undre substratet (1), placeras det övre sub- stratet (2) och en cirkulär pressarfot (21) koaxiellt med det undre substratet (1 ); och att pressarfoten (21) förflyttas med relativt hög hastighet lodrätt rakt ned mot det övre substratet (2) tills det övre substratet får kontakt med den underliggande limringen (10), och därefter med relativt låg hstighet under limmets (10) spridning mellan de två sub- straten genom pressverkan och kapillärverkan. 512 007 6
4. Förfaringssätt enligt något av patentkraven 1-3, kànnetecknat därav, att limmet (10) närmast runt omkring centrumtappen (14) härdas med hjälp av UV-ljus från en central UV-lampa genom ett antal ljusledare monterade i rlngformlg hållare runt centrumtappen (14)
