1326937 Wood preservatives containing pentachlorophenol salts NORDDEUTSCHE AFFINERIE and C F SPIESS & SOHN 24 Sept 1970 [24 Sept 1969] 45655/70 Heading ASE A wood preservative comprises a solution in an organic solvent of a salt of pentachlorophenol with ethylene diamine, diethylene tri-- amine or hexamethylene tetramine, the organic solvent being a monohydric or polyhydric alcohol, a ketone, a methylated naphthalene and/or a mineral oil containing aromatics. Optional ingredients are wetting agents, fungicides and/or insecticides, e.g. chloronaphthalenes, #- naphthol, nitrophenols, tar oil distillates, creosote, tri-n-butyl tin oxide, DDT, γ-hexachlorocyclohexane and diethyl p-nitro-phenyl thiophosphate.
